About Tomball, TX - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Tomball is a small city located in Harris County, Texas. It is situated about 28 miles south of Conroe and close to 30 miles north of Houston. Tomball is positioned in the Houston Metropolitan Area, one of the largest metropolitan areas in Texas. Despite its location in a large metro area, Tomball is a small city. According to the United States Census Bureau, there were approximately 11,643 residents living in Tomball in 2016. It is the 9th largest city in Harris County.

Before European-American settlers arrived in the area of present-day Tomball, Texas, it was occupied by Native American Indians. Eventually, settlers of European descent moved into the area and took over. By 1838, the site of Tomball was a farming community located on a land grant given to the heirs of William Hurd. The community was named Peck and was home to a train station. In 1907, Peck was renamed Tomball in honor of Thomas Henry Ball, a man who played a major role in routing the railroad to the community. In the 1930s, oil was struck west of Tomball and the community became a boomtown. By 1933, Tomball was incorporated as a city and earned the nickname “Oil Town, U.S.A.”

Today, Tomball is home to beautiful residential areas, locally owned businesses, attractions, and more. Individuals who visit the community will find friendly people and a city characterized by southern charm and hospitality. Several events take place in the community such as the Downtown Holiday Lamp Post Stroll. There are many parks and recreation opportunities and facilities located in Tomball as well. Individuals who visit the City of Tomball will find it hard to leave.

Weather in Tomball varies greatly each season. Temperatures can dip below freezing when cool fronts are present in the city and rise to the low-100s when warm waves of air pass through. Residents find it necessary to have easy access to heating and cooling systems. These systems help individuals stay comfortable in their homes year-round.
