Gas Furnaces
Gas furnaces all work about the same. The fuel is burned inside a closed container inside the furnace. The exhaust from combustion is vented to the outside of the house. The burning of the fuel warms a heat exchanger which will then heat the air. The heated air is then circulated in the house by either gravity or a pump.
